This came just over a week after three of her highly anticipated Eras Tour concerts in Vienna were abruptly cancelled due to a failed terror attack plot. It was revealed that the Austrian authorities had prevented a potential terrorist incident that targeted one of her shows in the city.

On August 9, Taylor Swift was scheduled to kick off a three-show run in Vienna. However, Austrian authorities disclosed that they had thwarted an ISIS-inspired plot that aimed at causing havoc at the concert, mandating Swift to cancel the event and promising to refund all tickets bought ahead of the show.

Three teenagers were suspected to have collaborated with the terrorist groups to unleash the mayhem. They were apprehended in relation to the ongoing investigation.

The first of five shows on Thursday marks the beginning of Taylor Swift’s performances at Wembley Stadium. These shows are the final leg of her European tour before she returns to North America.
