Among her companies was the renowned Afrobeat diva Ayra Starr. This is coming shortly after their encounter at a Fenty Beauty event in London a few months ago.
The Crop Over festival is a vibrant and lively 3-month-long celebration showcasing the best of Barbadian music, arts, food, and culture. It was first launched in 1974 and has since evolved into a cherished annual event that seeks to draw visitors to the island while preserving the rich cultural heritage of the local folks.
The festival typically commences in June and continues until the first Monday in August. The climax is the grand carnival parade known as Kadooment Day, which is deemed the largest Caribbean carnival.
