Burna Boy has received a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) honor from President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Member of the Niger Order (MON) honor was also given to 2Baba and Teni by the President.
The president honored 447 Nigerians and allies of the nation on Tuesday during the 2022 National Honours Award Investiture, including the three musicians.
The event was held in the Federal Capital Territory’s International Conference Center (ICC) (FCT).
Burna Boy’s father, Samuel Ogulu, is seen accepting the medal from Buhari in a video that has gone viral.
The award is given in light of Burna Boy’s outstanding achievements in the world of music.
After the artist won his first-ever Grammy last year, Buhari praised him.
