Uzi Vert disclosed this Wednesday, during the Pink Tape Tour which had an outing in their hometown, Philadelphia where they reportedly made an explosive performance set comprising fan favorites as well as recent additions to their rich catalogue.

According to the rapper, the switch to a different sound and style is “really” cool but they hope to get back to the usual with the release of the next project.

Uzi Vert said, “Don’t get me wrong, like, the songs I’m makin’ and shit, like all the ‘AAAAH,” they explained. “All that shit is cool, but I’m gettin’ back to my original shit.”

Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert’s trailblazing career will soon be coming to an end as they recently announced plans to quit music altogether.

During night two of their Pink Tape Tour in Chicago last month, the Generation Now rapper revealed that their upcoming album will be their “last.” as they promised fans that they will embark on one more tour to support the project, after which they will retire from the business in hopes of leading a “normal life.”

Speaking to the crowd, the rapper had said, “Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album.” While fans seemed to be audibly disappointed, the rapper continued: “No, relax. It’s okay […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”

Lil Uzi Vert has yet to announce a release date for the record, but they’ve been teasing the album for some time now. Earlier this month, Baby Pluto kickstarted the rollout with a new song called “NFL,” which ostensibly serves as the lead single.
