Simi reveals why she fell in love with Adekunle Gold

Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, widely known as Simi, recently shared what triggered her deep affection for her husband, the renowned singer Adekunle Gold.

In an interview, the mother of one shared that she was initially attracted to her husband because of his exceptional graphic design and photo editing prowess.

While expressing her appreciation for Gold’s skills, she mentioned that he had successfully removed a water bottle from a photo of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya on the X platform on Saturday after Tunde requested the favour.

Simi reposted Gold’s edited version of the photo of the chess master and added a caption that read, “This was why I fell for you. I don’t know who sent you to start singing.”

Recall that Adekunle Gold gained widespread recognition for his impressive skills as a photoshopped artist before being signed to Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation. His talent was initially noticed when he designed the label’s logo, which ultimately led to his signing.
