Slim Thug clarifies rumour, says he never impregnated his cousin

Several years after dealing with rumours that he had a child with his cousin, American rapper, Stayve Jerome Thomas popularly known as Slim Thug has finally cleared the air that nothing of such ever happened.

Slim Thug made this known during an Instagram Live video shutting down the speculation and revealing that he was simply “trolling” when he seemingly admitted to impregnating his relative over a decade ago.
According to him, the rumours which allegedly came from a Formspring post back in 2012, was the reason his relationship with former Destiny’s Child singer LeToya Luckett came to an end.
Thug said, “I got a baby by my cousin? Which one of my aunties or uncles did I get pregnant with their child?” he asked. “Stop the cap, man. They come up with some bullshit like that. Stop the cap.
“Show me any of my aunties and uncles I got one of my cousin’s pregnant. You dumb muthafuckas. It come from when I trolled a long time ago saying some shit like that on Twitter. This is where that shit come from.”
Recall that rumors about Thug and his cousin resurfaced last week following the rapper’s controversial comments about Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, in which she accused him of rape and domestic assault.
In a video posted to social media, the “Still Tippin” hitmaker suggested that Cassie had filed the lawsuit for financial gain, saying: “They’re coming back and getting Bill Cosby, coming back and getting Puff — I don’t believe in that, man.
“When shit go down, speak on that shit right there or it should be null and void. You shouldn’t be able to do shit unless you let the people know what happened immediately. There should be a time limit on that shit.”
“What happened was […] you were fucking with a billionaire with all this bread all this time, and then you went and followed your heart to fucking with a trainer,” he added, referring to Cassie’s personal trainer husband Alex Fine.
“That apartment got small, that lifestyle fell off, now it’s struggle time, the love wearing off and now you trying to come up with ways to figure out how to get paid […] Quit trying to expose people for money.”
Later, Slim Thug offered some sort of apology to the singer: “That was my personal opinion. I’m sorry we don’t agree on everything…I don’t hate Cassie, I didn’t even know Cassie was black.”
In addition to the incest rumor, the rapper was also mocked for a Craiglist ad he posted in 2011 looking for “no strings attached” sex following a breakup.
