African’s coach sends Deontay Wilder an advice
Congolese heavyweight boxer Martin Bakole’s coach, Billy Nelson, sent Deontay Wilder an advice.
Wilder’s loss to Joseph Parker last year’s December is still spreading ripples of wonder, and many think the former WBC heavyweight champion should sign out.
Nelson had few things to say for Wilder’s benefit while speaking to Seconds Out:
‘He’s had a fantastic career. The legs weren’t in tune with his body. Everything seemed to be so disorganised. He didn’t look as though he could take a shot. He looked a bit dodgy when he was taking the shots.’
The trainer did not think he should remain in the sport.
‘Nobody has seen him box as poorly as that. I’d personally like to see him hang the gloves up.’
However, the world might be on the threshold of a big surprise, since Wilder has announced he is coming back.
