British heavyweight contender Anthony Joshua’s next professional fight seems more near than expected following his post on Instagram.
Joshua who was a lineal heavyweight champion before his defeat to Ukraine’s Oleksander Usyk is preparing for an undisclosed bout.
All this are happening after the European’s 11 months of spotless fights, with the last one seemingly the most remarkable of all.
Joshua beat Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou within a short time frame and was expected to either face Filip Hrgovic next for the IBF heavyweight mandatory challenger spot. Furthermore, his victory over Ngannou booked him a spot againt whoever wins the undisputed heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksander Usyk.
However, Joshua is rumoured to be preparing to feature in one of Matchroom versus Queensberry 5 versus 5 fight cards.
EverythingBoxing posted on X that Joshua was contacted via phone call by his 258 managements about a certain fight.
They also showed that Joshua accepted the offer.
