Muhammad Ali joins WWE Hall Of Fame
Former American boxer now deceased, Muhammad Ali, is to be inducted into World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE’s) Hall of Fame.
Ali who is seen as the greatest boxer ever officiated at the franchise after retiring from boxing, and now his role at bringing more viewership to the industry is to be recognized.
Before appearing within the company, the great pugilist fought in boxing’s heavyweight division when it was at its peak, beating historical juggernauts like George Foreman and Joe Frazier among several more.
One of the things Ali did for the WWE was serving as a referee during a WrestleMania clash between Hogan; Mr. T vs. Roddy Piper & ‘Mr. Wonderful’ Paul Orndorff.
Now Ali will be inducted in the class of 2024 of the WWE Hall of Fame this year, and will be the third heavyweight champion to join the franchise’s Hall of Fame. Mike Tyson and Primo Carnera were inducted in former years.
