Tyson’s Fury’s Manager On Why Fury Underperformed against Francis Ngannou: ‘He couldn’t sleep’
Tyson Fury’s manager Spencer Brown gave a bizarre reason for Fury’s bad performance against Francis Ngannou who was a boxing debutant.
A collection of global fans watched Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, get knocked down in the third segment of the ten-round fight to their surprise.
Many still think that Ngannou won the bout, including several big figures in boxing.
Brown was speaking to Boxing King Media recently when he said the following concerning his client’s loss:
‘I’ll tell you the reason now, this is an exclusive – he never slept, for three days on the spin. That was the reason for the bad performance, you can take that how you want but I was there and I saw it all.
‘He couldn’t sleep. We have cured that now because we have gone to a new camp and it’s wonderful, marvellous, you can sleep as much as you want.’
Now Fury is preparing for the undisputed world heavyweight championship bout in which his opponent would be the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion, Oleksander Usyk.
The result of the fight would prove whether Fury’s ability had waned or not.
