Jude Bellingham accused of calling exiled Man Utd player a rapist

Real Madrid’s talisman Jude Bellingham is being accused of calling on-loan Manchester United player Mason Greenwood a rapist during their match yesterday.

Mason Greenwood fell out of favour at United in 2022 following several allegations brought against him, but was acquitted by the Crown Prosecution Service after investigations.

When United saw that fans were opposed to having him represent the club any further, they gave him opportunity to continue his career away from the Premier League by making a loan deal with Getafe.

Greenwood’s smeared identity seemed swept under the carpet till Getafe reported Bellingham’s said action to a La Liga official. Now Greenwood’s side has asked for the alleged offensive statement to be included in the referee’s report of the match, necessitating an investigation.

Bellingham and Greenwood might have offended each other while fighting for the ball during the match, and the camera recorded Bellingham saying something to Greenwood just after.
