Singer Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable has been excluded of nominees by the Headies Awards organizers.

The ZaZoo Zehh singer received nominations for “Best Street-Hop Artiste” and “Rookie of the Year,” respectively.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the event’s organizers, Portable was removed from the upcoming 15th Headies Award because of his disruptive behavior.

“We regret to announce that the following indictment statements made by Mr. Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and incessant negative attention that Mr. Okikiola has garnered from the Nigeria Police and the general public in recent times, the organizers of the Headies have resolved to disqualify Mr. Okikiola as a nominee at the forthcoming 15th Headies Award,” the statement reads in part.
