The IPOB warns Southeast politicians based in Abuja not to return without Kanu.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) threatened political appointees and MPs in Abuja must avoid traveling to the Southeast until pro-Biafra agitator Nnamdi Kanu is released.
The group demanded that the leaders not leave Nigeria without Kanu, who is facing treason and terrorist charges in the Federal High Court of Abuja.
In a statement, Emma Powerful, the organization’s media, and publicity secretary said, “As terrorists and insecurity are gradually but surely taking over the Nigeria seat of power Abuja, we…wish to remind the so-called elders and politicians of Igbo extraction in Abuja never to return home to Biafraland without Mazi Kanu. We express our delight over the fulfilment of most if not all the prophecies of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”
