Chelsea football club has finally secured the signature of 24-year-old Spanish international defender from Brighton & Hove Albion football club for £55 million price tag for the transfer of Marc Cucurella plus add-ons. He signed a six-year contract, keeping him at Chelsea until the year 2028.

With the signing of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa, Gabriel Slonina from Chicago, Marc Cucurella from Brighton & Hove Albion,  Chelsea will be considered a title contender.

He started his career at Barcelona then move to Getafe, Brighton & Hove Albion, and will be playing for Chelsea this season.

The player is well known for playing in several positions.
