Umar Sadiq, i was humiliated at Rangers by Steven Gerrard.
Umar Sadiq, a striker for the Super Eagles, has admitted that his time playing for Scottish giant Rangers was among the most challenging periods of his young career.
The 25-year-old, who has previously played for 10 clubs between 2013 and 2020, had a nightmare at Rangers but has since turned his career around with Spanish team Almeria, and is now on the approach of making a big £25 million deal.
During a disastrous loan from Italian giants AS Roma to Ibrox in 2018, Sadiq made just one start under Steven Gerrard. He was only at the stadium for six months before being sent back to Italy, where he spent the rest of the season on loan with Perugia.
He stated in a recent interview that Gerrard had mistreated him while he was a player of the Rangers, demoting him to the youth teams and forbidding him from parking his car in the sports complex.
