Lekan Osifeso aka Lojay, a gifted vocalist and nominee for the Next Rated category of the Headies Awards, has disclosed that American artist Chris Brown refuses to accept payment for the remix of his hit song “Monalisa.”

In a recent exclusive interview, the Afro-fusion singer revealed that when discussing the remix that occurred a year after the song was produced.
“There was a budget for the remix of ‘Monalisa’ but he(Chris Brown) refused because he liked the song,” said Lojay.
‘Monalisa’ was released in June 2021 as a single off a collaborative EP entitled LV N ATTN by Lojay and Sarz.
The song with over 100 million streams globally also exploded over time and was widely accepted by a global audience.
