Mercy Johnson, a Nigerian actress, and film director, has explained why she quit playing parts in love scenes.

Mercy Johnson was discovered by several filmmakers after her breakthrough performance in “The Maid,” a comedy and romantic comedy, introduced her to the public.

The 38-year-old mother of four admitted that her marriage to Prince Odianosen Okojie prevented her from accepting such assignments.

She claimed that after she got married, she had to put an end to the performance since her husband did not like watching her participate in such a sequence.

On a trip to France in 2008, the actress had her first encounter with her spouse; on August 27, 2011, they were wed.
