Public property vandalism is an age-long challenge in Nigeria as various sectors decry different levels of vandalism – a barbaric act that brings about underdevelopment and poses a draw-back syndrome.
In the Niger Delta for instance, and in other parts of the country where cruid oil is found or mined, the problem of oil pipe vandalism has become a cliche as despite efforts by both federal and state government officials, the menace continues to be on an increase.
