Fiery Mario Balotelli to move for the twelfth time
Mario Balotelli is set to leave Swiss club FC Sion, after reportedly ending his contract with the club. No reasons were given for his action, but the highly-volatile player spent a sour season with them most recently.
This situation was aired by transfer enthusiast, Fabrizio Romano on his X wall, where he said the Italian International ended his contract with the club, and has become a free agent.
After leaving Turkish club, Adana Demirspor last year’s August, the highly-talented player was signed by FC Sion for €2.62m. Things did not work as planned between him and the club following this signing, since the club ended the season at the base of the charts and were dumped among the relegated teams.
The 33 years old maintains a controversial view of life, which saw him play for more clubs than he should have, since most reckoned him a player of respectable performance. From outbursts of anger to seemingly-intentional reduction of outputs in the aspect of goals, the player is accused of several repetitive misbehaviours.
Reports say there are teams still willing to deal with the Mario Balotelli gamble. The fifty-fifty chance of pleasing the player made the headlines massively in the past, but it seems that unlike the clubs that failed to enjoy his good side, these interested clubs know what not to do.
It is common knowledge that clubs where the player was treated well by the bosses got to enjoy his best outputs, but had to deal with his stubbornness when they went against what mattered very much to him.
This character of his is not that of a player that would remain in a club for long, or that of one that would make a signing favourite.
As things stand, Mario Balotelli is not ready to stop playing football. His former club Adana Demirspor, who want him back, could get lucky.
