“I feel your pain but this is not a major city run”- J. Cole’s manager explains why Drake isn’t touring “major” cities

Drake and J. cole’s newly announced tour has caused a buzz from fans following an exclusion of some major cities they usually toured.

In a recent turn out of events, Val9ja News gathered that fans of both rappers in major cities like New York, Los Angeles and D.C. amongst others were lamenting the exclusion of their cities while expressing their disappointment in the latest announcement of the “It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? Tour.”

Responding to the droves of disappointed fans, J. Cole‘s manager, Ibrahim “IB” Hamad via a tweet, Tuesday, explained why the major cities were excluded stating that the focus was on some secondary markets that the rappers toured during thier days of litle beginnings.

He said, “I feel your pain but this is not a major city run, the run is for the secondary market we don’t get to go to as much and do shows like how we use to. All Love to DC though,” IB replied to one fan. 

However, the Dreamville co-founder is excited to hit some of the markets often glanced over on tours that he and J. Cole used to run through when they were grinding before his leap to superstardom.

“Gotta pull back up to some of those markets we use to grind through on the come up. Can’t wait to see those cities again, been a minute,” he added.

Drake and Cole’s newly announced tour includes a ton of make-up dates from Drizzy’s original It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage as well as some secondary markets, which is why major cities like New York, Los Angeles and D.C. haven’t been included.

Meanwhile, J.Cole and Drake will begin their co-headlining tour on January 18 in Denver, Colorado, and Cole will continue with the trek through March 10 in Lexington, Kentucky.

The 6 God will then perform the final four shows of the tour — including a Long Island show just 7.7 miles from Cole’s alma mater, St. John’s University — without the North Carolina rhymer.
