“2023 has shown me shege” Afrobeat Gem, Wizkid cries out

Nigerian multiple Grammy Award-winning singer, Wizkid seemed to have not gotten over the death of his mother after his recent revelation.

In a post, he made via his social media platform, Wizkid outlined that 2023 was the worst year of his life.

However, he described it in a Nigerian pidgin English dialect which he uttered as ‘Shege’ interpreted as ‘Difficulties’.

According to him, the year 2023 has shown him vast difficulties and further urged the year 2024 to be nice to him.

His words:

“23 show me shege, 24 be good to me”
