Sean Strickland cries foul after hitting Ian Garry’s wife, Garry fully reacts
UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently protested when Dricus Du Plessis’ used the sexual abuse Strickland underwent in the hands of his father in a trash talk. All this came following oral attacks Strickland launched on Ian Garry and wife. Now Garry has replied to Strickland.
Sean Strickland beat Israel Adesanya last year to lift the UFC middleweight belt which his predecessor had defended multiple times.
The upset surprised even UFC CEO Dana White who later argued there should be a rematch, but that topic seems to have been left to die.
Strickland is reportedly a careless trashtalker who says most things that come to his mind openly, and his past comments suggest he was lusting after Ian Garry’s wife.
Following a serious disagreement with Garry in which both men came close to tearing themselves apart, Strickland made a video in which he said some implicating things given he had been talking endlessly about Garry’s wife.
‘Garry, I don’t f*cking hate you dude, I actually like you,’ Strickland said. ‘I think you’re a funny little dweeb. You make me f*cking laugh.
‘I think you’re a dumbass f*cking kid who got some p*ssy that was too good for him and it got in his head and it f*cked you up. I look at you like a victim.’
One could even say he was trying to affect how Garry’s wife sees her husband, thereby winning her for himself. This is because Strickland has called the woman some sexually charged adjectives in the past.
However, one thing Strickland was not expecting was that his next opponent would use the sexual abuse he suffered in the hands of his father in a trash talk.
Angry Strickland reacted on This Past Weekend while speaking to a comedian called Theo Von as follows: ‘There’s some things that are off limits. You don’t really talk about a man’s wife, you don’t talk about a man’s kids, and you don’t about a kid being abused.
‘These things are all off limits. Once (Du Plessis) crossed that, I tried to f*cking ignore it. I was boiling. Whenever Dricus goes on there, and he jokes about that sh*t, dude, you have no idea.
‘I’ll f*cking kill you. You have no idea. I think the issue is too, when you’re a kid, and you’re made to be a victim your whole life, as an adult, you’re like, “Never again. I’ll f*cking kill you.”’
One man could not hold back a reply for Strickland, and that was one of his former victims, Ian Garry.
Garry wrote to MMA Fighting on Instagram, ‘How the tables have turned. You dish it out in the lowest, most vile manner, but can’t take a pinch.
‘You attacked my wife incessantly and obsessively, calling her a (pedophile).
‘It’s clear to see your childhood trauma showing. You claimed you were ‘giving me advice’ before, well now it’s my turn to return the favor: You should shut your mouth and focus on the mirror because you have enough serious issues you need to solve.
‘I wish you all the best with them. Don’t ever project your pain onto me and my family again.’
Strickland thought that Dricus Du Plessis went too far, but what do you think?
