Chelsea’s sidelined players ahead of Carabao Cup semifinal with Middlesbrough
The London Blues have unveiled their list of sidelined players ahead of their semifinal match with Middlesbrough.
Chelsea got beaten 1-0 during the first leg which took place at Middlesbrough’s home. Now they will have to stop that from happening at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
The players who will not be available for selection during the match have been announced by the club.
According to chelseafc.com, the following are still undergoing rehabilitation programs: Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Robert Sanchez, and Lesley Ugochukwu.
Chelseafc.com also made public that Trevoh Chalobah was ‘in group training for reconditioning phase’.
Blues’ team has had few days of rest following a packed festive season and will be back to business shortly.
Their coach Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to win the season’s Carabao Cup, having come this far.
