Ian Garry’s wife Layla sends emotional support to commentator Jon Anik

UFC superstar Ian Garry’s wife, Layla Machado Garry, tweeted emotionally supportive messages to commentator Jon Anik recently, after Sean Strickland’s fans showed the man much hate.

She is also a victim of bad statements from the same circle of supporters. Strickland famously called her a succubus whose copulation part was highly enjoyable to her much younger husband, Ian.

The following are the tweets she wrote for the benefit of Anik:

‘Dear @Jon_Anik it sucks that you’re being attacked for doing a job you’re exceptional at. Sadly this is more a reflection on the anger that those particular ppl carry. There’s a huge group of people that carry a lot of hate, hate of their upbringing, their job, wife, life etc…’

‘These angry people see resemblance and identify with other angry people hence why so many are Sean Strickland fans. They have a lot of time to regurgitate their anger online and they are encouraged by other angry people.’

‘Have empathy for they are damaged, set firm boundaries because being hurt does not give anyone permission to hurt. And take all the space you need. Turn off comments. Give no one permission. Also these are not real fans, don’t forget the massive love you have.’

‘Like Ian the majority is actually a powerful support. They buy the merch. They wear the tee. They scream his name in the street. It’s just a group online who have a lot of time on their hands that create this toxic world.’

Strickland’s first title defense ended in a defeat, after a split decision from the judges gave his opponent Dricus Du Plessis the middleweight title.

Strickland initially joined his own fans to say that he won, though his alleged chats with Du Plessis suggest a secret different opinion.

Because Jon Anik said that Strickland lost indeed, he came under hate attacks from Strickland’s fans, the previous attackers of Layla Machado Garry.

Anik once confessed that he intended to leave his job as a commentator following what he experienced for saying that Sean Strickland lost to Dricus Du Plessis.
