Jude Bellingham reacts after equalizing against Belgium
Real Madrid talisman Jude Bellingham of England spoke after scoring the equalizer against Belgium in their friendly match yesterday.
Though the final tally was 2-2, the Englishman was pleased while speaking to talkSPORT following the match.
‘I liked it because I knew the rubbish we would have got if we lost two games on the bounce.
‘I think with these games you’ve got to keep perspective in mind. There’s a lot of lads making debuts, a lot of those boys I’ve never played with before.
‘I thought we created a lot of chances, I had the one there that I should have scored and a couple of other shots at goal so I’m happy I can make it up to the team but we should have won with the chances we created.’
Bellingham shared the English squad with newest additions in the persons of Kobbie Mainoo, Anthony Gordon, Jarrad Branthwaite, and Ezri Konsa.
‘It’s one of those games that will keep us in great stead going into the Euros,’ Bellingham said later.
‘I know everyone will be negative about it but you have to take these games for what they are, use the positives and learn from the negatives and I’m sure we’ll be fine.’
