Barry Hearn: ‘As you grow older there is less people you don’t like.
Founder of Matchroom Sports, Barry Hearn, said that old age reduced the number of people one disliked.
This happened during an interview with Piers Morgan at Piers Morgan Uncensored, in the presence of his son Eddie Hearn.
‘I have a compartmentalised brain,’ Barry Hearn replied when Morgan asked him to name any person he disliked. ‘Hearn There is lots of people I don’t like, and as you grow older there is less people you don’t like.
‘Whether or not there is a w*****, that doesn’t affect my life. Okay I’ll give you a name, you.’
The two old men laughed warmly about that.
Eddie had someone else to name during his own turn.
‘Simon Jordan,’ said Eddie. ‘I will just say one thing, I quite like Simon.
‘I have been on his show, he is very good at what he does.
‘It was actually the old Simon Jordan, because that is when it was a little bit more you know… he’d probably say me to be fair if you asked him.’
Fans believe that Eddie and Jordan have buried the hatchet, having seen both make up on air.
