Afrobeat superstar and Grammy winner, Burna Boy has responded to the ongoing speculation and uncertainty regarding the launch of his much-awaited eighth studio album.

Recall that Burna Boy hinted via his official X account on July 29th that the album would be released at midnight, “Album dropping by 12 am,” causing widespread anticipation that it would be released on July 30.

However, the singer did not release an album on the anticipated release date, which surprised and disappointed fans.

In a follow-up post on X (formerly Twitter), Burna Boy provided further clarification regarding the situation. He emphasized that he had not actually mentioned the specific release date for the album but had only specified the time.

The singer stressed the importance of being keenly attentive to details, “a valuable lesson to pay attention to detail.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, A valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said 12am, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o Na una Lose guard,” Burna Boy wrote.
