Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ Music Video hits 318Million views on Youtube
Nigerian Afrobeat Gem, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe who is popularly known as Ayra Starr has breached another dimension after her hit song ‘Rush’ music video surpassed over 300 million views on YouTube.
The song was initially released on 16th September 2022 by Mavin Records from her debut studio album, 19 & Dangerous.
After it struck several streaming numbers on all charts, Ayra Starr and Mavin Records were pumped to release the visual of the iconic song.
This transpired on 26th September 2022 after Mavin Records collaborated with the Nigerian incredible Chromatographic sensation, TG Omori and dished out classy scenes that thrilled fans.
As anticipated, the visual featured fashion, and African beauty inducted through models, culture and dancers.
The scenes were all engulfed with classical features displayed fully by Ayra Starr, aligned with her musical talent.
The visual views without hesitation started soaring in views and have breached a total of 318 million and counting to date.
Swerving to the video’s statistics, it has so far attained over 1.6 million likes and over 30k comments from musical enthusiasts across the world.
Rush by Ayra starr has been recognised as one of her most successful hit singles having earned a Grammy Award nomination she lost to South African Tyla.
Despite being released in 2022, the music video is still dominating in the top 20 trending Afrobeat music videos across the globe.
Away from this, the Nigerian multi-award winning singer, Ayra Starr has already started setting up a similar record with her single ‘Commas’.
The song released on January 2nd, 2024 serves as the singer’s first single of the year.
As of the day of its release to date, several sources have confirmed that it was scrapped from her incoming second studio album identified as ‘Range’ which will be released in the year 2024.
It serves as the album’s second track and has attained massive streaming numbers surpassing over 2 million views on YouTube.
