Afrobeat maestro, David Adeleke who is known popularly as Davido has revealed that the world-respected footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo is his close friend.

He made this revelation on Abtalks while he talked about celebrities not being appreciated enough for all their efforts and contribution.

Discussing further his relationship with the 5 times Ballon d’Or winner, he disclosed his displeasure with the mockery Ronaldo experienced after Portugal was eliminated from the 2023 World Cup campaign by the African giant, Morocco.
He outlined that people criticise the Portuguese maestro snubbing all he has done in the game.
His words:
“Look at Ronaldo, when he left the World Cup, he’s my friend by the way, he’s my very good friend”
“When he left the World Cup I remember being on the internet and I’m like ‘they were abusing him so much after everything he has done’.”
In reality, Davido is the only Nigerian singer Cristiano Ronaldo is following on Instagram proving their relationship as a close friend.
