“I drank Garri with toilet water” BBN Laycon recalls his struggles

Nigerian reality TV star and BBN winner, Laycon has recalled his early struggles which have sparked reactions among Nigerians.

In a recent post, he made on his micro-blogging platform X account, he disclosed that he was once struck by penury to the extent that he gulped Garri with toilet water.

According to him, the experience made him shed tears and in a way motivated him to strive to the top.

His words:

“One of my lowest lows was using shodeinde hostel toilet water to soak garri in 2013. I was alone in my wing that weekend, and I was starving. I wasn’t hungry o, I was starving. So I soaked Garri with no sugar and used toilet tap water to drink it… as I Dey soak the garri, water dey commot for my eyes.”

Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively via all the social media platforms.
