“I rejected many roles because they were against my faith” Nollywood Actress, Oyindamola Sanni discuss her career

Nigerian Nollywood veteran, Oyindamola Sanni has disclosed the view of her growth since the core of her acting career.

During her recent interview, she disclosed that she has always embodied her faith and religion as her top priority to the extent that she declined a movie role that raged against her fate.

Speaking about her upbringing, she outlined that trying to keep up with her faith was quite difficult at the core of her career but she was still able to overcome the challenges.

Her words:

“While honing my skills as a newbie in the industry, I could not accept every role, because there were some roles that were against my Christian faith. Rejecting some roles as an up-and-coming actress was a challenge, but as the saying goes, ‘Do you, and the world will adjust’.”

The filmmaker also asserted her qualities and how she has evolved to become versatile in all aspects.

Her words:

“I don’t have any role model, but I look up to great people who are good at what they do, such as Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola and Funke Akindele.

“Being versatile and able to transcend times is a quality I don’t joke with. I have been working on myself to improve my skills. I have improved, and now play a wide range of roles, making me a versatile actress. I have produced nine movies so far. And, I have featured in many films as well.”

Sanni has quite earned a respected reputation since deploying a unique view of entertainment since the core of her career.
