IPOB applauds the UN for allegedly indicting Nigeria and Kenya following Kanu’s arrest.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) commended the UN Human Rights Council for purportedly bringing charges against the governments of Kenya and Nigeria for the arrest and extraordinary rendition of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
IPOB said that the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention’s judgment particularly accused the Nigerian and Kenyan governments for Kanu’s extraordinary rendition in a statement by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful.
The sentence reads, “We hereby commend Attorney Bruce Fein for the professional job in regards to the recently issued United Nations Opinion, condemning the extraordinary rendition of our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and directing the Government of Nogeria to release him unconditionally and to compensate him.
