Alex Iwobi of the Super Eagles and Jordan Pickford of Everton have both been nominated for Premier League accolades for September as a result of their solid performances for Everton.

The Nigerian international, who is impressing in a deeper central-midfield role for the Blues under manager Frank Lampard, is a finalist for EA Player of the Month.

Iwobi, who was voted player of the match in Sunday’s 1-0 triumph over West Ham United, assisted Neal Maupay on the game-winning goal, while the 26-year-old also shined in the Merseyside derby tie at Goodison Park.
