The Nigerian singer who has been quiet away from controversies, in the recent trend, sparked reactions after she performed in the opening ceremony of AFCON 2023.

The opening ceremony of the AFCON 2023 was epic and featured several views of culture and reputation.
However, Nigerians were able to spot their own, Yemi Alade who performed as the lead singer among other performers.
Taking to her social media handle to announce the incredible feat, she expressed her emotion and gratified God.
Her words:
“⚽️ TODAY, and I’ll be performing at African Nation’s CUP 🏆 …….LIVE”
Nigerians also joined in the trend and congratulated her massively via their grand.
Reports disclosed that she was paid over 1 billion for the performance.
