Omoyele Sowore Reportedly Sent Home By #EndSars Protesters
The Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of the online news agency Sahara Reporters, Omoyele “Yele” Sowore, was reportedly sent home by #EndSars protesters.
The # EndSARS protestors who did not want to hear anything from him rebuffed his attempt to beg and explain.
He was reportedly sent away on the basis of accusations of not being sufficiently transparent and because they did not want to base the protest on political grounds.
However, because his presence was not required there, he was requested to leave the protest ground.
Remember that Sowore had recently accused some of the # EndSARS protests of making billions, but he failed to provide any proof.
The protesters were seen pushing and shouting at the CEO of the online news agency, Sahara Reporters, in a video that went viral on social media.
Sowore, who has supported EndSARS since the beginning of the protest, was advised to show his support on social media rather than in person.
