Seyi Law defend Tinubu’s policies, says no other president could have done better

Famous Nigerian comedian Oluseyi Aletile, professionally known as Seyi Law, disclosed that he had expected the prevailing economic hardship brought by President Tinubu’s policies.

The comedian was featured in a recent interview on the Mic On Podcast, hosted by Seun Akinbaloye. In it, he revealed that President Tinubu had the best manifesto during the presidential campaign and has stuck to it since his assumption into office.

He said none of the candidates, including Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, could have done better than what the president is currently doing.

Seyi Law acknowledged the widespread hunger and hardship in Nigeria that has arisen due to current policies. While addressing concerns about the suffering, he also defended the president’s approach to dealing with these issues.

He said, “I knew the pains that were going to come with some of these policies and I had prepared myself for them. But at the same time, I must not put myself in the shoes of every other person and assume that they would be able to bear the pain as I would.

The comedian stated he wasn’t defending Tinubu because of any personal benefit; he said, “I Am just stating the fact” However, he acknowledged that he was recently given a government appointment, which, according to him, is the only thing he could pinpoint as benefitting from the government.

Mr Oluseyi Aletile, professionally known as Seyi Law, was recently appointed as the Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Entertainment & Tourism, to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
