Singer Chimamanda draws contract between her real self and Qing Madi
Upcoming music star, Chimamanda Chukuma, who is popularly known as Qing Madi, has revealed the contrast between her authentic personality and the public persona of Qing Madi.
Chinasa Akunam hosted Qing Madi in the latest episode of the “Is This Seat Taken podcast. She revealed that her confidence on the stage is top-notch, which is completely contrary to her authentic introverted personality.
She emphasized this when Chinaza inquired whether she thought there were any distinctions between Amanda and Qing Madi.
She responded, “I think so in terms of performance and confidence,” she began, “because the people that know me from my home know that I don’t like to talk at all. I have a mini library in my room right now, so I’m just like, ‘books, books, books,’ and I just bury myself and chill,” the singer explained.
The singer further stressed that public appearances make her nervous, but when she wears the personality of Qing Madi, she totally becomes very confident.
She narrated how it always baffles her mother to see her jumping on stage and talking to the crowd without any iota of fright.
“I come on stage, and I’m jumping, talking to the crowd, and they’re responding, and I’m like, ‘Okay, this is a whole alter ego’. I think Qing Madi is a very confident person but that’s not who I am,” she stated.
