Victony updates on his health challenge, reveals he has done four surgeries

Nigerian musical artist Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has disclosed his health challenges and said he is grateful to God for blessings, regardless of his health situation.

Victony disclosed this during an interview on the Adesope live segment at the Afroland festival. The singer revealed that he has had four surgeries so far and will have another one after his tour, which is kicking off today (7th August) in New York City.

Speaking on how he is still up and doing even with the surgeries and the potential one, the singer stated that he had been taking pain relievers before he would be able to perform on stage. He said he is blessed, and “the world knows it” because he ought not to be able to do what he does without God’s grace.

“Honestly, I am blessed, and the world can see. I’m still in the recovery phase, but I’m still able to do this. And I’m about to go on tour.

“Thinking about last year, even up until recently, I have done 4 surgeries, and I am still going to do one more after the tour. But it’s still a blessing. Going in and out of the hospital.

“I take pain relievers before I go on stage and I still record. I thank God for his grace, it is not by power. I’m not his favourite child so I don’t know why he is blessing me,” he said.
