Aituaje Iruobe, alias Waje, a Grammy-winning musician, commended hip-hop superstar Davido for paying tribute to her.

Waje tweeted over the weekend about how Davido’s sweet remarks led to her leaving a location feeling honored with a set of stunning diamond earrings.

The singer claimed she had been in the music business long enough to know that not everyone would honor or speak well of her in her absence. She described the DMW record boss as a gift.

She posted: “Imagine walking out of a place feeling, honoured, and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings cos of @davido’s kind words about u. I’ve been in this game a long time, not every1 will honour u when you aren’t present in the room. David you are truly a gift”.
