Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Davido has joined in the heated debate of favouritism in the biggest rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in football history which has sparked reactions so far.

According to the ‘Timeless’ crooner, he admires Cristiano Ronaldo’s hard work and discipline and keeps in touch with his kind of energy every single day.

During his recent interview with GOAL.COM, he chose Cristiano Ronaldo as his favourite football player. This came shortly after he was asked to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He adored the Portuguese work ethics even more often in a highly profiled manner that attracted vast attention.

Finalising his utterance, he publicised that he, however, loves both great players but prefers Cristiano Ronaldo for himself.

His words:

“You know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him. I like both of them. But, I personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”
