In another development, the Gombe state government had recently completed it’s multibillion Naira Ultramodern Transportation Park as well as its’ Launch Plan.

Speaking to newsmen, the team overseeing the transition assired citizens in the state that the facility will change the game in terms of security and comfort as it houses up-to-date facilities and prides in it’s ability to bring about a fast, reliable and efficient transportation system in the state.

Prior to the completion and establishment of the ultramodern motor park, Gombe state had several interstate motor parks scattered around the capital city.

Sources say this has been a lingering challenge for the both the masses and the Gombe state government.

Several persons have faulted the scattered positioning of the several motor parks across the city as a major security risk causing avoidable traffic gridlocks and massive revenue leakage in the state.

Meanwhile, Val9ja News learns that the assignment of this committee overseeing the transition, is to enhance a simultaneous or gradual relocation of all motor parks to the new multibillion-naira park in a bid to curb the aforementioned menace.

Quoted, “the ultramodern motor park is a beauty to behold. With world-class facilities such as a 38 Room Motel for lodging.”

The park has made provisions for 42 Public Toilets, a fire service station, a police post, a standard clinic for emergency health care and a mechanic workshop as well as a 120,000 Cubic Meter Water Reservoir.

A report by Leadership says that the importance of this project is not lost on residents of the city.

The Land transportation system in Nigeria is faced with a multiplicity of challenges ranging from bad roads to disorganized motor parks and many others with road accidents being the most worrisome.
