Uniport student allegedly kills girlfriend for money ritual

A student of the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT has allegedly killed his girlfriend for money rituals.

According to reports, the suspect, identified simply as Collins is a final year student of the University of Portharcourt, UNIPORT.

The victim, identified as Justina Tiffany Otuene however, is a 300-level biochemistry student of the same university, according to a blogger, Promise Uzoma Okoro.

In his publication, Okoro alleged that the suspect, Collins had invited his girlfriend to his house when the incident occured.

However, it was gathered that Collins was caught by residents along NTA road Port-Harcourt while he was making attempts to dispose of the lifeless body of the deceased.

Although details of the incident are still sketchy, reports said the suspect has been arrested by security operatives after the residents raised an alarm.

Contacted, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko promised to avail more information on the matter to newsmen.

She said, “I will get back to you on this report please”.

Recall that cases of money ritual killings have recently, become rampant across the country. This is as activities of the internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo boys have also experienced a surge.
