Ryan Garcia is an American professional boxer who held the World Boxing Council interim lightweight title in 2021, and has competed in multiple weight divisions, including super featherweight, lightweight, and light welterweight.

His last pro bout ended in a defeat after Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis stopped it with a legal body shot.

Now preparing to face former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney who is now a super-lightweight king, he fell into an exchange with UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley on X.

It was O’Malley who started the fire by saying he would kill Garcia.

Though O’Malley holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes, it did not deter Garcia from replying as follows on X:

‘Alright rainbow head, There is only one way to find out… Dana let’s do this.’

But there is one man who must be involved in the discussion before a fight can be scheduled between the two: Dana White.

So, in a later tweet, Garcia sent a message to White.

‘I’d fight Sean O’Malley in the UFC that’s it but Dana you’d have to cut me that real cheque.’

A crossover fight between the two is possible, but there are several hurdles in the way.

One of them is whether White who is known to have problems with fighters concerning money will be able to offer Garcia an acceptable deal.
