Joe Joyce: ‘These would beat Anthony Joshua’

Heavyweight contender Joe Joyce named those he assumed would beat Anthony Joshua in a boxing match.

Joyce who was formerly undefeated before losing twice to China’s Zheilei Zhang is still crawling his way back to the top. Speaking to OLBG, the pugilist said the following:
‘Both in their prime, I think David Haye beats Anthony Joshua. I haven’t sparred Haye but in his prime he would have done Joshua, he had that explosive power and the head movement, he was unpredictable.
‘Haye did struggle against Klitschko, but his hayemaker was heavy duty. His style at the time would have beaten AJ, he was very fast and hard to hit, I think Haye uninjured in his prime win.’
Another person Joyce mentioned was Muhammad Ali. This new way of seeing Joshua came after he accumulated four victories in less than a year.
