It has been announced that the boxing champion recently obtained a manager’s award from the British Boxing Board of Control and have become the first black woman to hold such a permission. Jones is a two-weight champion and is not prepared to end her days in the ring.

The mother plans to continue her boxing career even though she is in her very late thirties, intending to combine her professional boxing career with her new managerial role. Her first client is already announced as Mikie Tallon, and the bout will take place on Saturday.
‘All my life I’ve always believed in myself and I’ve never allowed myself to give up,’ said Jones. ‘I’ve not consciously set out to be first to do anything, I just knew that I wanted to break down barriers and not be scared to do anything just because it hadn’t been done before.
‘That being said, one thing I do like about being first is that it makes you part of history and nobody can take that away from you.’
Natasha Jones is the first woman to qualify for the Olympic Games and to earn the British Boxer of the Year in 2022.
‘I couldn’t turn down this opportunity,’ she declared. ‘I”ve known Mikie from Liverpool and watched him go through the ranks. The thought of being able to guide someone to miss pot-holes that I fell into is something I couldn’t pass.’
Presently a unified champion
Many have different views from her on continuing to box as a mother, but this has not slowed her down, nor is she showing any sign of stopping. The new age perspective on gender equality looks biassed to a fraction of the international community who think that a woman’s body undergoes changes that are not like those a man’s would at becoming a parent.
In reaction to what some who were arguably conservatives said concerning her in the past, this is the fighter’s reply.
‘It was like, ‘Tasha’s turning pro, and she’s a mum’,’ Jones recalled. ‘And that was the headline – ‘Oh my God, a mum was turning professional’. And I was like, ‘Tom Stalker turned pro last year and nobody said anything to him. Anthony Joshua? No one said he’s a dad’.’
