Al Hilal 4–3 Inter Miami: Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez present as Saudi Arabian club beat Inter Miami
Lionel Messi and his Barcelona team mate Luis Suarez could not stop Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal from clubbing Inter Miami 4–2 today in a nearly one-sided game.
Suarez and Messi scored a goal in the first and second half respectively to reduce the distance, but saw Inter limping behind in the last moments.
Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal found the net thrice in the first half, and proved to be the more ferocious team. But Inter Miami succeeded to score once in the half through Luis Suarez.
During the second half, Inter’s talisman Lionel Messi sent home a penalty kick in the 54th minute, while David Ruiz scored the equalizer.
However, Inter will suffer another hit through Al Hilal’s Malcom in the 88th minute, and would not find a reply to it till the final whistle.
Cristiano Ronaldo was remembered by many fans when the third scorer for Al Hilal, Michael, celebrated his goal like the legend.
It was an wonderful outing for American side, Inter Miami, and also a constructive one.
