Kylian Mbappe quenches rumours about suitors
French player Kylian Mbappe quenched rumours that claimed he had accepted either Liverpool or Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The Frenchman’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends in six months, and his next step is still veiled.
Arab suitors wooed the player during the summer transfer window but were left wondering what the nice player’s plans were.
Speaking on Wednesday after PSG beat Toulouse by two goals to nought, Kylian Mbappe spoke to dispel every doubt or assumptions as to what he intends to do at the end of the season.
‘No, to start with I’m very motivated by this year,’ he said.
‘It’s very important. We have titles to win and we have already won one.
‘I haven’t made my decision yet. I haven’t made a choice. With the agreement I had with the president in the summer, my decision is not important as we managed to protect all the parties and preserved the serenity of the club for the challenges to come, which is the most important.
‘So we will say that it [the decision] is secondary.’
This means he could go to Saudi Arabia, Real Madrid, Liverpool, or sign among contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
