This is now the 5th goal Frenchman Kylian Mbappe has scored, after playing three matches in Ligue 1 this season.

His goals played the highest role in PSG’s galloping ascension on the chart board. All this came in the wake of recent maneuvers by representatives from the Saudi League to win the 24 year old’s heart.

But who can prove his heart is not won yet?

After Kylian Mbappe refused to sign a new contract with the French side but agreed to stay through his already-signed one till 2024, one could boldly say he would probably sign up with Al Hilal.

The Saudi SPL club offered a tsunami-causing €300 million ($332m) for him this year. It is a wonder to some he rejected the offer.

Yet, has he turned down the offer?

At the end of the season, the French international will become a free agent. The fan zone would have to wait till then to see whether the player accepted the fairytale contract. If he did, it would set a new record, and make him the youngest player to be signed into the kingdom’s football league.

Kylian Mbappe started this season by scoring in every match he has played in. PSG is now two points behind Monaco (who is the number one on the point chart). But if Mbappe continues his prolific scoring, it is likely they would not be there for much longer.

PSG scored four goals in the first half, but conceded one in the second by a penalty kick. This last goal could be named Captain Tolisso’s Self-Redemption, for he caused the penalty that gave Kylian Mbappe the chance to score his first goal by a bad attack on Manual Ugarte.

Below is the post-match player rating.
