Bitten UFC debutant gets compensated

A UFC debutant who was bitten during his first bout got compensated.

Andre Lima was preparing to fight with Igor Severino, but was not expecting the fight to be one of the most comic ones to ever take place at the promotions.
While both were near the fence during the fight, at a time, Severino dug his teeth into Lima’s arm and bit hard.
That was against the rules, so Severino got both disqualified and severed from the UFC, while Lima received a compensation of $25,000.
Lima has now also made a tattoo on the spot he was bitten, maybe in order to retain the exact marks.
UFC CEO Dana White was the one who saw it was the right thing to compensate Lima for the unjust pains.
