Israel Adesanya builds BTR subdivision in New Zealand, names it after himself
Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya recently built a build-to-rent subdivision in his host country New Zealand, and named the real estate investment Adesanya Close.
A build-to-rent subdivision or BTR subdivision is a real estate development made up of single-family homes or multi-family units that are built for being rented out to tenants rather than sold as individual properties.
It is usually managed by a single entity, such as a real estate investment firm or a property management company, which oversees the whole thing and handles the leasing and ongoing management of the rental properties.
Adesanya is still to return to the octagon following his surprising loss to Sean Strickland — who has now also lost the title to South Africa’s Dricus Du Plessis.
According to Stuff, Adesanya’s real estate investments amount to the total of $20m.
The property manager at Adesanya Close, Wade Thompson, revealed that the property has been viewed 3000 times since it was listed, and that three of the available seven units are taken.
